Exhibition Design, & Jugaad Thinking

The Federal Office of Culture (FOC) annually recognises, through the competition The Most Beautiful Swiss Books, the most remarkable achievements in editorial design, with the aim of promoting the quality of Swiss production.

In 2025, twenty works produced in 2024 were selected from 362 submissions, on the recommendation of an international jury chaired by Sereina Rothenberger and composed of Mathias Clottu, Julie Peeters, Tasheka Arceneaux-Sutton, and Marco Walser. The evaluation criteria focused on graphic and typographic design, the quality of printing and binding, as well as the choice of materials.

This following was exhibited at Pratt Institute by Scott Vander Zee. We faced challenges with time and budgets for this exhibition and had to come up with quick and innovative solutions that could be adapted and implemented efficiently.
